Likhit Guru is designed to operate primarily offline and store user progression locally on your device:

• Local Progress & Exam Records: Your quiz answers, test scores, XP points, daily streaks, and exam target dates are saved locally on your device using sandboxed storage (AsyncStorage). We do not collect or upload this data to any external private server.
• Optional Driving License Photo: If you choose to use the License Card feature, any photo you capture or select remains stored strictly on your local device storage. It is never uploaded to any remote server or shared with third parties.
• Diagnostic & Performance Data: Anonymous technical logs may be collected by Google Play Services to monitor app crashes and improve app stability.

2. Permissions Requested & Purpose

Our app may request the following device permissions solely to provide specific features:

• Audio / Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively to power voice assistance, speech synthesis, and interactive Nepali reading features on your device. Audio is processed locally and is never recorded, transmitted, or saved.
• Camera & Photos (android.permission.CAMERA / Photo Library): Requested only if you choose to take or upload a photo of your driving license for personal local viewing inside the app.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To support free development and maintenance of Likhit Guru, we use Google AdMob to display banner, rewarded, and interstitial advertisements:

• Google AdMob: Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID / IDFA), IP address, and general location data to serve advertisements and prevent fraudulent clicks.

4. Government & Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

Likhit Guru is an independent educational prep app and is NOT affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the Department of Transport Management (DoTM) or any government agency of Nepal. All question banks, traffic signs, and test guidelines are gathered from publicly available examination curricula for study and practice purposes only.

5. Data Security & Retention

Because your quiz progress and license photos are stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data. You can delete all saved data at any time by clearing the app data in your phone settings or uninstalling the application.

6. Children's Privacy

Likhit Guru is intended for individuals preparing for driving license examinations (generally aged 16 and above). We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
